Supporting Children & Families: An Overview of Parental Incarceration

This event features Dr. Hilary Cuthrell, whose work examines how incarceration affects parents, children, and caregivers, with attention to parent-child connection, reentry, family reunification, and family-centered practices. Her work includes contributing to Sesame Street’s "Little Children, Big Challenges: Incarceration" and spending nearly a decade working at the federal level to redesign prison visitation spaces to better support children and families.
