Tales After Dark

Tales After Dark is an immersive African folktale experience that combines storytelling, culture, and food. Throughout the evening, attendees will watch three animated folktales originating from different African cultures or regions. After each folktale, attendees will have the opportunity to try a meal or snack connected to the culture or region where the story originates.

The event will have a dim, intimate, and slightly mysterious atmosphere inspired by the tradition of gathering together to share stories. Lighting, music, decorations, and visuals will help transform the space and create an immersive storytelling environment.

Rather than simply watching the folktales, the goal is for attendees to experience the culture surrounding each story through food, discussion, and cultural context.
