Tom Johnson was named chair of the Centerstone Illinois Board of Directors. Centerstone is a national leader in behavioral health care.

1974

Wayne Wille retired after 38 years as a planner with the City of Davenport, Iowa, and 10 years as a floodplain administrator.

1975

Cherrie Kolben Heidemann-Oglesby’s daughter, Tricia Heidemann, was married on May 26, 2018.

1988

Donna Knurek married Leonard Soderman on Nov. 1, 2017. She is an AVID site coordinator and AVID Elective teacher at Ethan A. Chase Middle School in Meniffe, Calif. (Romoland School District).

1994

Tony Macaluso has resigned as director of network syndication for WFMT Radio Network to move with his family to Leeds, England. In addition to heading the national distribution division of Window to the World Communications classical WFMT 98.7-FM, he also oversaw development of the Studs Terkel Radio Archive and served as executive producer of numerous radio series. Before joining WFMT Radio Network in 2012, Macaluso was director of marketing for the Grant Park Music Festival.

Hiroko Sato Moriguchi had a son, Arata, in February 2018.

Ross Carlson had a son, Brady Carlson, in December 2017 (Cassandra; Riley, 5).

2009

Mike Pettis is an account executive with O'Rourke Sales Company in Davenport, Iowa.

2010

Jacqueline Celske was named associate vice president, marketing and PR manager at Quad City Bank & Trust. She majored in communication studies and psychology at Augustana, and received a master’s in communication from Johns Hopkins University in 2014.

2012

Samantha Tyner earned her Ph.D. in statistics in 2017 from Iowa State University, where she is a postdoctoral research associate.

2013

Joe Bright is the director of research and planning at Sauk Valley Community College. He serves as the liaison between the college and its accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission, and the Illinois Community College Board.

2016

Aubrey Waddick won a $130,000 National Science Foundation (NSF) fellowship in March 2017 to pursue Ph.D. research on China's foreign economic policy. She and Luke Currie ’16 were engaged in May 2018. He proposed on top of Mount Saint Helens.
