Allan Rohlfs published a book on empathic listening titled "When I Listen People Speak and Come Alive!" in December 2024.
1971
Brad Weir serves as chairman of the board for Aspire Chicago, a non-profit organization that serves adults with disabilities throughout Northeastern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. In March, he received the Advocate for Inclusion Award at the organization's annual gala. He recently was named in Crain's Chicago Magazine as a "notable non-profit board leader."

Sheri Russell Conover is in her 19th year as associate band director at Lake Zurich High School. The choir traveled to Austria and Germany in March 2024, and the jazz band will take its seventh trip to New Orleans in March 2025.

Pam Lenhart Huppmann retired from Knox County Schools in Knoxville, Tenn., in May 2023.

Dale Seaholm retired after 12 years with ITW Magnaflux.

Mark Chelsen retired after 22 years as owner of Mark's Dancewear in Johnston, Iowa.

Jerry Jones was named one of 2024's Most Influential Leaders by the Quad Cities Regional Business Journal. He is the executive director of the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Rock Island, Ill.

Juliet Hussey Minard completed her dissertation, titled "Secondary Choir Students' Perceptions of Inter-District Collaborative Performance Experiences," and graduated with a Ed.D. in educational studies in August 2024.

Tom Gard, band director in Whitefish Bay, Wisc., earned his National Board Certification in the field of Music: Early Adolescence Through Young Adulthood.

Nick Padiak and Katie Ballinger Padiak had a son, Huckleberry Padiak, on Feb. 9, 2024.

Rebecca Olear married Peter Casa on Aug. 17, 2024.

Adam Pfluger '15 and Madison Mortenson '18 had a daughter in April 2024. Adam currently works with Lake County Public Works.
2019
Sarah Hanson Miller is the lead epidemiologist for the Healthcare Associated Infections program with the State of Missouri DHSS. In 2022, she married Nathaniel Miller, and graduated from Saint Louis University with her Masters in Public Health.
Eddison Marske is an environmental specialist with SSAB, a specialized steel manufacturer, as well as a sergeant in the Illinois Army National Guard.
Emily Jorgenson Skelton earned a Masters in Nursing from Rush University in 2022. She started her nursing career in the ICU in the suburbs of Chicago and now works in an ICU in southern Illinois. She married Daniel Skelton '18 in 2023.

Rachel Boakye graduated from American University School of International Service and is a research analyst at the United States Institute of Peace.
Mia Lambert graduated from SIU Medicine in May 2024 and started a three-year family medicine residency in Mishawaka, Ind., in July.
