Mary Pillai
Mary Levine Pillai '72 married Robert Iggulden on May 18, 2018.

1972

Mary Levine Pillai married Robert Iggulden on May 18, 2018. She has lived in London, England, since graduating from Augustana. She retired in 2011 after teaching mathematics in London for 38 years.

1975

Daniel Bonnett was elected as a Fellow to the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He is a partner in the Phoenix, Ariz., law firm of Martin & Bonnett, PLLC.

Plaque
A performing arts center was named in honor of Mary Lynn Mollner '76.

1976

Mary Lynn Mollner has retired after 30 years of teaching at Bradley Elementary School in San Bernardino, Calif. At her retirement party, she was presented with a plaque that renamed the school’s multi-use room “The Mary Lynn Mollner Performing Arts Center” in recognition and appreciation of her 30-year career at Bradley Elementary.

1978

Paul Dennhardt is a full member (fight choreographer) of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, the theatrical union that unites, empowers and protects professional stage directors and choreographers throughout the United States. He choreographed the fights for Hamlet at The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (October 2017) and Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare Festival St. Louis (June 2018).

1989

Bob Olmsted is the band and orchestra director at Knoxville High School. On March 3, 2018, the Knoxville High School orchestra won the Class C Solo and Ensemble State Championship.

1994

David Victorson is a licensed psychologist and associate professor of medical social sciences at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, where he conducts research on mindfulness, yoga and cancer survivorship. The nonprofit organization he helped found in 2009, True North Treks, takes groups of young adults with cancer and their caregivers on free backpacking and canoeing excursions in backcountry wilderness destinations. True North Treks will soon establish its home base in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

1995

Charles Kyle was named assistant superintendent of administrative services in Wheaton-Warrenville School District 200.

Necco McKinley
Necco McKinley '95

Necco McKinley was named the director, higher education marketing by the American Psychological Association.

1997  

Jodi Winn Rooney was selected by the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership, a nonpartisan program of the Flinn Foundation, as one of 36 Arizonans for the 2018 cohort of its flagship Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy. She is a Town Council Member in Prescott Valley, Ariz., and is running for the state legislature.

Amanda Braun Thorne is vice president account management with Ruffalo Noel-Levitz.

1998

Hiroko Sato Moriguchi was married in November 2013. She had a son, Arata, in February 2018.

1999  

Nick Polyak published his second book, Student Voice: From Invisible to Invaluable. He published The Unlearning Leader: Leading for Tomorrow's Schools Today in 2017.

2000  

Jeremy Bratt married Amber Wobschall on Dec. 30, 2017, in Minneapolis, Minn. They live in Washington, D.C.

Bethany Currie, Marshall County District Court magistrate and attorney, was appointed district court judge in Judicial District 2B by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds.

Michael Esposito Jr. was appointed in June 2017 to the Planning and Zoning Commission for the Village of Lake in the Hills, Ill.

2001  

Lisa Goergen Kosnik had a daughter, Emily Kathryn Kosnik, on June 20, 2018 (Louisa).

2002  

Leigh Kramer published her first novel, A Storied Life, in June 2018.

2004  

Farley Regner had a son, John (Jack) Clarence Regner III on April 6, 2018 (John: Charlotte Elizabeth, 18 months).

Kyle Zick was named Forreston (Ill.) High School's head football coach.

Nicholas Peters married Ashley Cortino ’09 on June 1, 2018, in Boulder Junction, Wis., with 15 Augie alumni at the wedding. Katrina Jensen married Micah Graf on May 19, 2018, at Camp Liberty in New Liberty, Iowa. They live and work in Phoenix, Ariz.
