Flu shots available Nov. 5

The Rock Island County Health Department will be offering flu shots for Augustana employees and students on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon in Centennial Hall. Please enter through the back door of the building and exit through the front. This is a walk-in clinic and no appointment is necessary.

Individuals must bring the following items to the clinic:

• A copy of your insurance card (front and back),
• Completed consent form. Blank consent forms will be available at the clinic as well.

This consent form document includes the consent form as well as a list of accepted insurance programs. It is recommended that you call the phone number on your insurance card to make sure the Rock Island County Health Department is in-network and that the flu vaccine is covered, especially if you have out-of-state insurance. For those enrolled on Augustana medical insurance through UMR this is considered an in-network provider and insurance will be accepted as coverage.

If you do not have insurance, or your insurance is not accepted, the cost is $66 for the shot payable by cash or check payable to Rock Island County Health Department.
