IOP launches new study away portal

The Office of International and Off-Campus Programs (IOP) is excited to announce the launch of its new study away portal in partnership with Via TRM. All approved Augustana study away programs will be housed in the portal, where students can find program details, deadlines, estimated costs, and apply for programs.

IOP officially transitioned to the Via TRM platform on Sept. 8, 2025. Via TRM provides a more user-friendly experience with a streamlined application process for students and enhanced support for IOP staff. The new study away portal allows any site visitors to view approved programs without having to log in. Visitors to the site can filter for a program by term, subject area, locations, and program type (faculty-led, exchange, etc.).

When a student decides to apply to a program, they will use their regular Augustana College login credentials to access the application and their portal profile.
