LGBTQ+ basics session on Jan. 13

The Office of Student Inclusion and Diversity will offer an LGBTQ+ training session for faculty and staff on Monday, Jan. 13, from 1-2 p.m., in Olin 302.

During LGBTQ+ 101 training, we will cover topics such as:

  1. The acronym LGBTQIA+.
  2. Ally Spectrum.
  3. Gender, sex, and sexual orientation and the difference between.
  4. Relevant policies on campus.

We invite you to help build an Augustana free of stigma and discrimination through knowledge and understanding.

This training session is open to staff and faculty only. Limited spots are available.

Please note that this training is a prerequisite for enrolling in the Safe Zone training, which will be offered in the spring semester.
