Shades of Beauty summit April 25

The Augustana offices of Student Inclusion and Diversity and Student Life will sponsor the Shades of Beauty Summit from 10:30 a.m.-3:45 p.m. in the Gerber Center Gävle Rooms.

Admission is free but registration is required by April 7.

The summit will be a gathering of women to share, discover and celebrate their beauty. The goal is to provide an event that will reach past cultural differences, uniting women and empowering them to love who they are, the way that they are. Attendees can expect an engaging, inspiring day filled with discussion, music and great food.

This year's topic is "Level Up: Step into your next self." The keynote panel, moderated by Local News 4 anchor Alexandria Ikomoni, will include panelists Ashley Dean, Sonia Villalpando, Jasmine Babers, Kristina Glackin and Tracy Nguyen. In the afternoon, Aleexa Singh, Dr. Pandora Lawrence, Sarah Stevens, Melissa Pepper and Liz Nino will engage in topics such as career, academic success, confidence, leadership, personal care and relationships.
