Using Udemy Business Pro

This past summer, we officially switched from LinkedIn Learning to Udemy Business Pro and we wanted to make sure you're aware of this tool and the best ways to use it.

What's included in your Pro Account?

Your account gives you access to the entire Udemy library, plus several "Pro" features for more hands-on practice:

• Udemy Paths: Follow pre-built, structured learning paths that combine courses, labs, and assessments.
• Assessments: Discover your current skill level on a topic and get personalized recommendations.
• Labs & Workspaces: Apply your learning in real-world, risk-free technical environments (e.g., in data science, AWS, DevOps) right in your browser.

Helpful tips for using Udemy

• Be as granular or comprehensive as you need. You don't always have to complete a course from start to finish to get value from it.
  • Use the table of contents to jump directly to the videos with the material you need.
  • Search the individual video transcripts to find the exact topic you're looking for and start the video right from that point.
• For faculty, managers and team leads: If you want to assign courses, create custom learning paths, or view the progress of your students or team, ITS can set you up as a "Group Manager."
  • To request a new Udemy Group, please do one of the following:
    • Submit a Service Request at helpdesk.augustana.edu
    • Email helpdesk@augustana.edu with your desired group name and a list of group admins.

How to get started

1. Go to: augustana.udemy.com
2. Log in: Your username is your Augustana email address, and your password is your network password.
3. Explore: Start an Assessment, browse a Udemy Path or search for a skill you want to build.
