Alyssa Matz received a B.S. in forensic psychology from St Ambrose University and a master's in clinical mental health counseling from Western Illinois University.
Her work experience includes the Rock Island Arsenal Employee Assistance Program, the Robert Young Center, and the Abbey Addiction Treatment Center. In May of this year, she became a certified Daring Way facilitator-candidate, trained in Brene Brown's work.
Matz enjoys reading, running, and playing volleyball. She has coached volleyball for six years and still plays several times a week.
