Neurodivergent Student Union is a group to provide a safe and supportive place on campus for autistic students and allies. Community education, neurodiversity, social justice, and acceptance are at the core of this group. Augie Acres (formerly known as the Augustana Local Agriculture Society) contributes local organically grown food to the college and community by cultivating diverse varieties on their campus student-run garden. The club seeks to educate members on gardening practices and food-related issues, and promotes ecological citizenship, experimental thinking and community through weekly garden workdays and meetings.
