Augustana College announces the students who have been named to the Dean’s List for the 2016-2017 winter term. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.

Best Buddies is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Faculty recommends switch to semesters
Augustana faculty voted 124 to 47 this week, with six abstentions, to recommend to the board of trustees that the college switch to a semester calendar.
Ryan '16 wins postgraduate scholarship
Senior Ben Ryan has been awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. The $7,500 grant is awarded to student-athletes who excel academically and athletically. Ryan, captain of the basketball team, is the 36th Augustana student to win the scholarship. He is a biochemistry and pre-med major with minors in math and chemistry. In March, he was named the Vikings 161st Academic All-American.
