History Club

The purpose of this organization is to foster interest in and love for the study of the past.

Collegia Classica Augustana

Collegia Classica strives to promote appreciation for the study of Greek and Roman civilizations and cultures through events and activities that seek to educate and promote interest in other students.

Club Ed (Augustana Student Education Association)

The group helps acclimate new students to the Ed program, as well as providing education majors and department members with social outings, workshops, and child-oriented service projects.

Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASSHA)

Our mission is to promote better speech, language, and hearing through awareness efforts, educational programming, service projects in the community, and fundraising.
 

Sociology & Anthropology Society

Sociology & Anthropology Society is a place for anthropology, sociology and social welfare majors/minors, as well as those who are simply interested in the field, to gather and explore the subject outside of a classroom setting. By doing so, the club strives to educate students about the many cultures of the world, get involved in multicultural events on and off campus, and help make Augustana a more culturally aware and sensitive campus.

Advertising Developers (ADs)

ADs gives students the chance to develop and complete a real marketing campaign, which allows them to use the information they have learned inside the classroom and apply it to the workforce.

American Chemical Society (ACS)

The purpose of this organization is to have students become more engaged in the subject of chemistry.

American Choral Directors Association (ACDA)

This group is a student chapter of the national organization of ACDA, which strives to further educate future music teachers and choral musicians.  ACDA meets once a week to discuss various issues related to choral music. ACDA also brings in guest speakers, attends concerts, and coordinates special experiences for choral students in the community.
