Freistat grant deadline
The Freistat Center is accepting grant applications until Jan. 22, 2018. This round of funding is for faculty and students during the summer of 2018 and academic year 2018-2019.
The grant will fund faculty research abroad in areas appropriate to the Freistat vision, or travel to international conferences that involves Freistat Center areas of interest.
Research in peace studies or in any area of inquiry that promotes active conflict resolution is appropriate. Such research may take theoretical form, involving significant historical, social, economic, or political inquiry; or it may take a more practical form, involving real world solutions to real world problems, such as issues involving the health and welfare of a given people or issues pertaining to environmental integrity or sustainable forms of energy.
