The play will run April 12, 13, 14, and 15.

"Accidental Death of an Anarchist" is a farce based on the real-life events surrounding Italian railwayman and anarchist Giuseppe Pinelli, who fell – or was thrown – to his death from the fourth floor window of a Milan police station in 1969.

The events of the play, however, are a fictional, comedic representation of the reopening of the case by a curious madman. Through disguise, rough-housing, and hilarious trickery, he unearths the incompetence of the Milan police and the blundering actions of a corrupt state. Dario Fo's raucous comedy has been performed in over 40 countries.

Audition monologues are optional but highly encouraged. Reading from a script is fine, as long as the monologue is comedic or farcical (or can be made to seem so). All readings are being judged for comedic timing and instinct. All actors regardless of race, ethnicity, and ability are welcome.

You are encouraged to read or look at the script.

For more information or to check out a script, contact director Keenan Odenkirk.
