Ascension Day worship and brunch

Augustana College will offer an Ascension Day service and brunch. Pastor Allison Bengfort of St. John's Lutheran Church in Wilmette, Ill., will  give the sermon.

The service will begin at 9 a.m. and free brunch at 10 a.m. RSVP by email to Connie Huntley for the brunch.

Ascension Day commemorates the Christian belief of the bodily ascension of Jesus into heaven. It is one of the universally celebrated feasts of Christian churches.
