Q-C History Hop: The Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center

The Swenson Center is teaming up with Davenport Public Library for an after-hours tour of the archives.

The Quad Cities are bursting with history! Join us in visiting local cultural and historical institutions and organizations around the Quad Cities to learn about the region's storied past.

Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center is a national library and archives that collects, preserves, and provides access to resources for the study of Swedish-American relations. The Center also helps people research their Swedish-American genealogy.

We will learn about the collections of the Swenson Center, the history of Swedish immigration to Moline, as well as viewing their current exhibition on Swedes and Swedish Americans and World War II.

Meet at the Swenson Center at 6:30 pm.
