Teaching Assistant Program in France info session

The Teaching Assistant Program in France offers the opportunity to work in France for seven months, teaching English to French students of all ages. Interested students should attend this session or contact Dr. Kiki Kosnick.

Each year, more than 1,200 American citizens and permanent residents teach in public schools across all regions of metropolitan France and in the overseas departments of French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Réunion.

Assistants are assigned a 12-hour per week teaching schedule that may be divided among up to three schools. Classes are conducted in English. The teaching assistant may conduct all or part of a class, typically leading conversations in English.

Contracts begin on Oct. 1, 2020, and end on April 30, 2021. The application deadline is Jan. 15, 2020.
