African American read-in
The campus community is invited to experience stimulating works by African American writers, including original poetry and music performed by none other than Augustana's very own students.
Students can sign up for a 10-minute time slot and read, perform, or sing works by African American authors.
New this year from 3 - 4 p.m., an unstructured discussion will follow the read-in, and raffle tickets will be drawn for prizes: three powerful books selected by Dat Poetry Lounge and three $10 Brew gift cards. Only students who read or perform are eligible.
