Dr. Kevin Geedey: The Importance of Undergraduate Research

Dr. Kevin Geedey is the advisor for  Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) national biology honor society's Augustana chapter. He will discuss undergraduate research and why it is an important experience — much more the a line on a résumé.

He also will discuss his summer work with the Upper Mississippi Center for Sustainable Communities and the importance of summer internships with TriBeta. 

Dr. Geedey is a professor of biology and the Bohdan Dziadyk Distinguished Chair in Environmental Science and Conservation at Augustana.
