Francophone Film Festival: "Varda by Agnès"

The annual Francophone Film Festival at Augustana will screen a film each Thursday from Feb. 10-March 10.

The final movie to be shown is "Varda by Agnès". Agnès Varda, photographer, installation artist and pioneer of the Nouvelle Vague, is an institution of French cinema. Taking a seat on a theatre stage, she uses photos and film excerpts to provide an insight into her unorthodox oeuvre. (IMDB description)
