Five Years of Exploration, Field Robotics, and Machine Learning in Coastal Dynamics

Dr. Mark Lundine '18, with the University of Delaware's Coastal Sediments, Hydrodynamics, and Engineering Laboratory, will be on campus to give a Homecoming presentation to Udden Geology Club (all are welcome) about using robotic systems like autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and drones, as well as sensors like sonar and LiDAR to study and map the geomorphology of the seafloor and the coast.
