Pride and Persistence

In this hour-long presentation, LGBTQ author Joe Chianakas aims to inspire, entertain and empower. Joe will share personal stories about his experiences as a queer teacher and writer, failures and triumphs that inspire his work, as well as stories about the power of persistence, community and pride. Joe will be available to sign books and talk with you after the event, too. There will be 10 free copies of the first book in his LGBTQIA+ series, "Singlets and Secrets," that will be randomly given out as prizes to attendees.
