Accessibility Scavenger Hunt Oct. 10-16
Take a break from studying and join Disability & Access Resources on an Accessibility Scavenger Hunt October 10-16! Students who find at least 12 correct features will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
You walk this campus every day, but how often do you notice the things that are meant to create access for people with disabilities, or the things that make campus life inaccessible? Disability Awareness Month may only be in October, but these barriers and access points exist for disabled students and staff year-round. Take a journey through campus with a disability view and see if you can find the accessible and inaccessible features.
While the prizes are for the students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate as well. Take this opportunity to get out of your office for a walk and navigate our campus as disabled students and peers would.
