Best Buddies 'spread the word to end the word'

Spread the Word to End the Word is a campaign to raise awareness of the hurtful effects of the r-word and encourage people to pledge to stop using it due to its hurtful and derogatory nature.

Spread the Word Week is March 1-5. Augustana's Best Buddies wants to make sure that the message of inclusion is shared.

A National Awareness Day will be held on March 3. Best Buddies will a virtual panel and everyone on campus is invited to come learn and ask questions about what it means to be inclusive and how we can all "spread the word to end the word."
