Cheerleading camp and tryouts Sept. 4

Students interested in being an Augustana cheerleader are invited to camp and tryouts from 8 a.m.-noon Sept. 4 at the PepsiCo Center, court 3.

• Applications are due by 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27.

Arrive a few minutes early and be ready to go promptly at 8 a.m. Wear comfortable activewear, cheer shoes or tennis shoes, and hair off face. Face masks are required for all participants. Please remove all jewelry before you come; there is no storage to lock up valuables.  

Bottled water will be provided.

Up to 24 cheerleaders will perform at all home football and men's basketball games only.

The cheer season is from September to March. To be eligible, you must be enrolled full-time for fall, J-term and spring.

Practices are from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Previous cheer experience is preferred, but not required.
