1959

Kenneth Johnston published the lead essay on Wordsworth, Beethoven, Napoleon and Tolstoy in the 25th anniversary issue of the journal ROMANTICISM (University of Edinburgh Press). 

1959 and 1961

Ken Stenman '59 and Priscilla King '61 Stenman celebrated 65 years of marriage in August 2024.

1972

Tom Lahl retired from farming. He is the owner/operator of Dead Poets Espresso in Moline, Ill.

1973

Charles Hughes released his third book of poetry, "Ifs, a Few Buts, and Other Stuff: Poems Mainly for Children" (Kelsay Books, 2024), dedicated to his three grandchildren. It's his first foray into the young reader genre.

1975

John McEvoy Jr. is a member of the Friendship Manor Board of Trustees, as well as the Audit and Compliance Committee. He joined the Christian Care Board in 2024 and will be treasurer later this year.

1982

Suzanne Dell-St.Clair retired after 25 years in non-profit fundraising.

Barbara Rutherford France is the discipleship pastor and young adult pastor at Baker City Church of the Nazarene in Baker City, Ore.

1983

Julie Maring Dreixler retired after a nearly 40-year career in human resources, most recently as the chief human resources officer with Graham Media Group for the past 11 years.

1987

Kirk Bednar retired as the city manager of Brentwood, Ill., after 24 years of service in the community.

1991

David Williams is the University of Houston's senior deputy athletics director.

1993

Michelle King is the acting commissioner of the Social Security Administration. King leads a workforce of approximately 58,000 employees and provides oversight for the programs and services the agency administers.

Paul Anderson Nimrick received his certificate in financial planning and analysis from the Institute of Management Accountants.

2012

Caryn Blomquist married Jeffrey Edgar on Nov. 10, 2024.
