Kinesiology students offering fitness tests
Kinesiology students will conduct a fitness clinic offering body composition and VO2 max tests from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 6 at the Peter J. Lindberg, M.D., Center for Health and Human Performance.
This event is open to the public and campus.
Body composition is assessed using a BodPod, which will require participants to sit quietly in the machine for approximately 5 minutes while measurements of the body (such as body fat percentage) are taken.
A VO2 max test is a 10-20 minute test that assesses a person’s maximal endurance capabilities on either a treadmill or stationary bike. It provides information about cardiovascular fitness.
Fees are as follows:
BodPod testing is $20 for students; $30 for staff, faculty and alumni; and $40 for the general public.
VO2 Max testing is $40 for students; $50 for staff, faculty and alumni; and $60 for members of the general public
Those who sign up for both tests will receive a $10 discount ($5 discount for Augie students).
