What is Merit?
Your Merit page is built for you by Augustana College to showcase your unique, meaningful college experience. It acts as a personal newsroom for your academic career, showcasing your accomplishments, achievements, activities and more.
Accomplishments such as making the Dean's list, graduating from college, studying abroad and other important milestones will be added to your page directly by Augustana College.
In addition to these automatic updates to your page, you can further customize it with photos, extracurricular activities and more.
Your Merit page is also useful for seeking employment, with options to upload your resume and list your employment history.
Using Merit
Step 1: Visit https://meritpages.com/login
Step 2: Use your Augustana email as the username, then create a password.
Note: Once you have created an account, you can connect it to your Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, and then use those accounts to sign into your Merit account in the future.
Step 3: After completing these steps, you will be directed to your "My Account" page. From here you can update your account by adding photos, inserting your resume and more.
On the top right, you will see the top bar contains your name, My Account, Search, Help and Sign Out.
- Clicking your name will allow you to see your account as others are able to see it, which allows you to better understand and customize your page. Click My Account to return to the editing page.
- The search button allows you to look for other public accounts, both other students and schools.
- If questions arise, the “help” button has a search bar that you can use to answer your questions.
For customizing your page, we recommend attaching your complete and updated resume to your page, but if you’d like to fill out your page directly, there are plenty of options!
