Peer support group for LGBQT+ students

Student Counseling Services is offering a therapist-led peer support group for students who identify as LGBQT+.

The group will give students a place to connect, support each other, and process their experiences at Augie. Students can also make suggestions about ways to improve the Augie experience for students who identify as LGBQT+.

The group will meet from noon-1 p.m. every Thursday when fall semester classes are in session, starting Nov. 10, in the Bahls Center basement. Please check in with Cheri in the Counseling reception desk (Bahls Center, second floor, room 206).

Students are welcome to eat lunch during the hour.

No prior or ongoing relationship with the student counseling center is necessary to join.
