Augustana College’s campus is closed Monday, March 16, due to weather conditions. This includes all athletic and evening activities, PepsiCo Recreation Center and Thomas Tredway Library.
Dining services will remain open on a regular schedule.
A celebration of life for Thomas Tredway, president emeritus of Augustana College, will be held from 1-5 pm on Sunday, April 24, at The Bend Event Center, East Moline, Ill., with a short program to start at 2 p.m. Memorials may be made in care of the River Bend Food Bank.
A memorial for him also will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 28, in Wallenberg Hall in the Denkmann Memorial Building on campus, 3520 7th Ave., Rock Island.
Dr. Tredway died on Sunday, April 10, at home in Hampton, Ill., after a brief illness. He was 86.
