Sign up begins for Homecoming events

The theme for this year's Homecoming is "Golden Age of Hollywood" and all student groups are invited to participate.

If you are participating in Yell, there will be a mandatory training and every member of the group needs to sign an acknowledgement of the history and culture significance of Yell.

In efforts to be more inclusive, the Homecoming committee is eliminating gender in the Homecoming court. The top individuals in each category will be selected.

If you are participating in Sing, there will be a mandatory rehearsal that must be completed, as well as a signed acknowledgment of Hollywood’s impact on history, specifically regarding blackface. 

Monday, Oct.10: 7 p.m. on the Quad. Kick-off bonfire and voting for the Homecoming court.
 
Tuesday, Oct. 11: 5:30 p.m. in the Slough, Cardboard regatta

Tuesday, Oct. 11: 7 p.m., Centennial Hall, Talent Showcase, and Coronation

Wednesday, Oct. 12: 7 p.m. in PepsiCo. Rope pull, Yell, and Phrig competition

Thursday, Oct. 13: 7 p.m. in Centennial. Sing competition.
