Volunteer opportunities with Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement is seeking classroom volunteers for the spring semester. Each program includes five to six weekly lessons, lasting 35-45 minutes, with scheduling coordinated directly between the volunteer and the classroom teacher.

When you volunteer, JA provides:

  • A brief, one-time virtual training session
  • A simple, easy-to-follow guidebook outlining each lesson
  • Turnkey materials for classroom activities
  • Direct communication with the classroom teacher
  • Ongoing support from JA staff to ensure you feel prepared and confident.

About Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement partners with local schools to provide hands-on learning experiences for grades K-12 that focus on financial literacy, work/career readiness and entrepreneurship. These programs are delivered by community volunteers who bring real-world insight into the classroom, helping students understand how what they learn in schools connects to life beyond it. By sharing personal and professional experiences, volunteers help students see the real-world relevance of what they’re learning – and inspire them to see their full potential.
