College employees medical insurance
Eligibility
Health insurance is offered to those employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30-hours per week on either an academic or calendar year basis. Faculty members who teach 18 credit hours or more per year are considered full-time. New employees are eligible on the first of the month following their hire date.
Medical insurance benefit summary
This plan is administered by UMR - Choice Plus Network. Costs for 2025 are as follows:
Full-time employees - PPO Plan*
- Single coverage: $193.75 per month
- Employee +1: $530.75 per month
- Family: $700.75 per month
* Total out-of-pocket maximum is $3,500 single or $7,000 double or family
Full-time employees - High Deductible Health Plan*
- Single coverage: $143.13
- Employee +1: $385.13
- Family: $510.13
* Total out-of-pocket maximum is equal to the deductible amount ($4,000 single or $8,000 double or family)
This per month cost is for full-time employees who are paid on a 12-month basis. Those employees who are paid on a 10-month basis will have slightly higher per month costs with the annual contribution remaining the same regardless of pay schedule.
