Dental coverage
Eligibility
Dental insurance is offered to those employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week on either an academic or calendar year basis. Faculty members who teach 18 credit hours or more per year are considered full-time. New employees are eligible on the first of the month following their hire date.
Dental insurance benefit summary
This program is administered by MetLife. All employees regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week on either a nine, 10, 11 or 12 month basis are eligible for dental benefits.
The following rates apply for the 2024 calendar year:
- Employee: $36.48
- Employee + 1: $71.58
- Employee and family: $132.28
