Graduate financial aid
Students in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program have three sources of financial aid: loans, scholarships, and graduate assistantships.
Graduate assistantships
Graduate assistantships give students with an opportunity to work part-time alongside faculty, gaining experience while earning funds to help pay tuition.
Several 12-hour per week assistantships are available.
Graduate assistantships are merit-based and students will be informed of graduate assistantship awards when they are notified about acceptance to the MS-SLP program.
Debra Betts '73 Bork Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Studies Award
This MS-SLP scholarship was established by William H. Bork ’72 in loving memory of his wife, Debra Betts ’73 Bork, in grateful recognition of the education she received in speech-language pathology at Augustana College, and to assist students in Augustana’s MS-SLP program to meet the financial cost to complete their educations.
Communication Sciences and Disorders faculty will award this scholarship to a graduate student who demonstrates exemplary academic and clinical aptitude and achievement, and who has a strong service record. An award will be available to a student entering the graduate program each year and will be renewable for a second year.
