Overview

Live with a family, study at one of India’s finest universities, volunteer, and explore India with group excursions on this integrative program. A wide range of university courses make this a great program for any major.

Details

Requirements and cap: This program requires a 3.00 GPA, but has no language requirement. The program cap is 6 students per year.

Fields of study: All fields are welcome in this program. It is particularly strong for Asian Studies, Humanities, Social Sciences and Business/Economics.

Budget and fees

Augustana fees: Augustana tuition, housing, and meal plan

Other expenses: Airfare, visa fees and discretionary spending. Estimated out of pocket costs are $2,000.

Financial aid: All financial aid applies as if on campus. Augie Choice eligible for juniors and seniors. Grants from CIEE may also be available.

Students enroll in a full range of courses offered by the University of Hyderabad, including special “Study in India” courses designed for international students, as well as courses from the many fields of study offered at the University. Some examples include:

Housing

The Homestay option is recommended. There is also an option for housing on the campus of the university in a university residence hall. Both options include full meal plans.
