Kristin DeBlieck

Professional Faculty, Clinical Supervisor, and Instructor of Communication Sciences and Disorders

I truly feel blessed to work one-on-one with student clinicians at the Barbara A. Roseman Center for Speech, Language, and Hearing.

Augustana has a strong academic and clinical program with an outstanding reputation within the community. I truly enjoy being able to share my clinical knowledge with the students and watch them grow in their clinical skills and their confidence.

Before coming to Augustana, I spent 12 years working with the adults in skilled care, home health and in outpatient settings. During this time, I worked with patients for swallowing disorders, cognitive communication disorders and language disorders.

In 2016, I became certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT-Loud), a vocal loudness treatment program for people with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions. In 2018, I took a position in a local school district working with children from pre-K through age 21.  During this time, I worked with speech sound disorders, social communication skills, fluency and augmentative and alternative communication.
