How to register to present at Celebration of Learning

Register for the Celebration of Learning is done by creating an account and filling out the application form in Augustana Digital Commons. Work that is presented at the Celebration of Learning may be published in Augustana Digital Commons, based on the approval of your faculty advisor upon completion and your submission of the completed work. Please follow these steps to register:

  1. Go to the Celebration of Learning in Augustana Digital Commons
  2. Click on Submit Work on the menu bar at the bottom right.
  3. Click on Sign Up under “Create New Account” or Login if you already have an account with Augustana Digital Commons. Use your Augustana email address for your account.
  4. Read through the Submission Agreement and check the box at the bottom of the page to signify your agreement. Then click Submit.
  5. Fill out the Celebration of Learning form. All fields in red are required. Pay special attention to these fields:
    1. Author: Your name will automatically be entered into this field based on your login information. If this is a group project, please enter all contributors on one application. Click on the green + to add other authors. The other authors do not need to fill out the form; one form is sufficient as long as all authors are listed.
    2. Author ID: This is required for the person completing the form to include their Augustana ID number. If there is more than one person in the group, their ID numbers are optional but helpful.
    3. Comments: If you require special equipment or have special scheduling needs, please note them here.
    4. Upload File: If your paper, poster, presentation, etc. is already complete, please upload it. If not, you will need to return to Augustana Digital Commons when it is ready, login to your account, and upload it then if you have permission from your faculty advisor.   6. When your form is complete, click Submit. Only click once, it takes a bit of time to process. 
  7. On the next screen, you’ll see a box with all the information you entered. If you see any mistakes or need to make changes, click Revise Submission. If everything looks okay, you’re all set. Simply logout by clicking My Account on the top menu bar.
  8. You will receive a confirmation email to let you know that your submission was received. Please check your Spam folder if it doesn’t come to your Inbox.
