Student Orchestral Composition Readings & Workshop

Join the Augustana Symphony Orchestra in Centennial Hall for readings of new orchestral works by three Augustana student composers. Hear the composers speak about their pieces and their compositional process and respond to what they hear from the playing of a live orchestra. Dr. Jacob Bancks and Dr. Daniel Chetel will moderate this performance/workshop/discussion between composer, performer and audience while audience members get a peek behind the curtain of the process of artistic creation as new music comes to life.
