Giving by cash or check
For tax purposes, the date you deliver or mail your donation generally is recognized as the gift date.To ensure proper tax deductibility of your gift, we advise you to obtain proof of mailing and to consult with your tax adviser or refer to IRS publication 526.
To support Augustana via cash or check, there are four steps:
1. If you are writing a check, please make your check payable to "Augustana College."
2. Complete the Pledge Form.
3. Review and verify information. Do you work for a company that offers matching gifts? Often you can double or even triple the value of your gift just by filling out a form. Take a minute to find out by visiting our Matching Gifts database.
4. Print the form and mail it to Augustana along with your check or money order. Please do not send cash via U.S. Mail. Our mailing address is:
