Office of Multicultural Student Life Awards Gala

The Office of Multicultural Student Life will host an Awards Gala to recognize students' achievements. The night will include food, awards and music. Formal dress is requested.

 

Battle of the Bands

WAUG.fm and Phi Mu Alpha will be hosting the Battle of the Bands, where bands from Augie and the Quad Cities will compete head-to-head for a grand prize.

Last Lecture and Senior Toast

Seniors are invited to the annual Last Lecture and Senior Toast. Three of the most influential professors, chosen by the senior class, will offer a few words of wisdom and inspiration before graduation. 

Reception for Provost Candidate Dr. Christopher Taylor

A reception will be held for Dr. Christopher Taylor, the third provost candidate to visit campus.

Dr. Taylor currently serves as dean of the college of liberal arts at Drew University in New Jersey. He holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University.

Reception for Provost Candidate Dr. Michael Green

An open reception will be held for Dr. Michael, a candidate for the position of Augustana provost and vice president for academic affairs.

Dr. Tim Muir, Augustana College associate professor of biology, will conduct a Riverine Walk entitled "I'm freezing out here!"

Channel Chat Talk: River Landscape Mosaic

Augustana's Dr. Reuben Heine, associate professor of geography, and Dr. Norm Moline, professor emeritus of geography, will lead a Channel Chat Talk, "River Landscape Mosaic."

Channel Chat Talk: Mexican and Latino/a American Histories of the Quad Cities

Dr. Araceli Masterson, Augustana College associate professor of Spanish, will give a Channel Cat talk, "Mexican and Latina/a American Histories of the Quad Cities."
