I am a proud Augustana alum with a B.A. in Public Health and Anthropology and a minor in Spanish. As the Sustainability Program Manager, I support student, faculty, and community partnerships through the Upper Mississippi Center (UMC) and the Center for the Advancement of Community Health and Wellness (CACHW). I help guide collaborative, place-based projects that address sustainability and health challenges in the Quad Cities region. I value working across disciplines, recognizing that public health is deeply connected to all areas of community well-being.
My background includes maternal health research with Baylor College of Medicine’s Global Health Department, nutrition outreach as a SNAP-Ed community worker with University of Illinois Extension, and three years of AmeriCorps service in environmental education and conservation with Nahant Marsh and the SouthWest Conservation Corps in Colorado. I have also volunteered extensively with women’s shelters and supported refugee and immigrant communities through ESL programs. I am passionate about empowering students and communities to co-create solutions that lead to a more just, healthy, and sustainable future.
