A Humble man sings praises for men's choirs
Aaron Humble is the new director of Augustana's 20-voice Wennerberg Men's Chorus. He is a 37-year-old tenor who has a bachelor's in vocal performance from Millikin University in Decatur, Ill., and a master's and doctorate in voice from Indiana University. The new assistant professor of music at Augustana also teaches private voice, as well as music appreciation and ear training.
Printmaking exhibit opens at Teaching Museum of Art
"WHAT A RELIEF! Variations on Printmaking" opens with a reception at 5 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Augustana Teaching Museum of Art. The exhibit features the work of Janet Taylor and Joseph Lappie, alongside ukiyo-e prints from the Augustana collection through Oct. 30. (See museum calendar for the season.)
