Carley Anderson is from Sherrard, Ill., majoring in studio art.
"The human figure has always fascinated me, as one of many fascinations. Part of my fascination involves the psychological and sociological aspect of being human: self. The self, as I interpret it throughout this project, is how we perceive ourselves, your personal identity. My goal for this project was to combine the human figure with the hideous self, a self that has a negative perspective."

In her January term business class, Dr. Amanda Baugous assigned a virtual competitive simulation in which teams of students “run” their own business. One team scored in the top 10% in the world.

International Street Fest to celebrate, educate
Augustana’s Office of International Student Life is hosting the International Street Fest on Feb. 2-3. The annual event is designed to celebrate the diversity of cultural backgrounds in the Augustana community and educate the campus about issues facing the college's international students.
