Frieze Lectures to reveal life and times of 'French Moderns'
The Frieze Lecture Series is a 21-year partnership between the Rock Island Public Library and Augustana College to present four talks in the fall each year featuring Augustana faculty. This year's theme is "modern lives," in conjunction with the "French Moderns" exhibit at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport.

The Frieze Lecture Series is a 19-year partnership between the Rock Island Public Library and Augustana College. This year's theme is "1841, the Year That Rock Island Began."
Gustaf Unonius letter copies, 1849-1964
Gustaf Unonius was the founder of the Pine Lake settlement in Wisconsin in 1842, one of the earliest Swedish settlements in the United States. Collection consists of photocopies of letters addressed to and from Gustaf Unonius from the archival collection at the Uppsala University library in Uppsala, Sweden.
