Michael Russo is a Senior Staff Accountant and Financial Systems User Rep for Caterpillar in Peoria, Ill.
"I want to give back to the school that helped guide and shape me into the professional I am today. Augustana provided both academic and social opportunities that enhanced my experience in school and beyond.
In my career, in addition to various accounting roles, I have been involved in recruiting, hosting interview candidates and mentoring Accounting interns.
I encourage students to pursue any networking or interview opportunities as every connection may open a door.
My experiences both at Augie and in a large corporate setting give me a broad range of skills that could help current students or recent graduates."
