Faculty and staff parking
All faculty and staff are required to have a parking permit on their vehicle to park on campus. Parking permits can be obtained by going to the Office of Police and Public Safety located in the basement of Sorensen Hall. Please visit the campus map to locate faculty and staff parking lots.

Why Collis Jones stays connected to Augie
Collis Jones '88 is vice president, U.S. policy and strategy, for John Deere Public Affairs in Washington, D.C. He leads the team responsible for managing U.S. federal and state government relations activities on behalf of Deere. His nearly 35-year career, which began at John Deere Financial, has included marketing, sales and public policy leadership roles.
Allison Nagy '14: 'I couldn’t let it be the end'
In the summer of 2019, five years after graduating from Augustana, Allison Nagy and Nikita Rohr ran together in the 3,260-mile MS Run the US Relay to support research for multiple sclerosis. Former track and cross country teammates, the friends ran segment 9 of the ultra relay from California to New York.

Jason Sinclair '02 just completed a job that would be the envy of humans across this planet. He was post-production coordinator for season three of "The Mandalorian."
Honoring Augustana Choir directors
To honor the legacy of two Augustana Choir directors — Dr. Henry Veld and Don Morrison — challenges have been established to name the new rehearsal rooms after them. A third challenge in the name of the family of current conductor Dr. Jon Hurty will transform Bergendoff’s Larson Hall, the Augustana Choir’s home since 1959.

An unforgettable 12-6 win in an unforgettable season
It was the most successful season in Augustana Viking basketball history. Coach Jim Borcherding’s 1972-1973 squad garnered national attention, evidenced by a Sports Illustrated article titled "The Swedes are Meatballs No More." Given the Vikings’ perfect 16-0 record in conference play, the article’s subtitle said it best: "Everybody used to feast on little Augustana, but now the Vikings are parceling out defeats for all."
Baseball’s Ozanic wins $10,000 NCAA scholarship
The NCAA honored baseball's Matt Ozanic ’22 with the prestigious $10,000 Postgraduate Scholarship to use for graduate study at a university or professional school.
