The Swenson Center library contains approximately 20,000 volumes related to the Swedish-American experience in North America, including genealogy and local history. The library is especially strong in Swedish-American imprints, which are books published in Swedish in the United States.
Archives
The Swenson Center's archives contains unpublished primary source material including manuscripts, photographs, and more. The archival collection is composed of two categories: personal manuscript collections and institution/organization papers, and measures approximately 800 linear feet.

Augustana offers traditional and online summer courses. Online registration opens Feb. 28, 2025, and classes generally run June 2-June 27.
